Exciting news for aspiring NEET-UG students residing abroad! The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently added 14 New Exam Centers Abroad for NEET UG 2024, offering greater accessibility to the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024.
Previously, the NEET information bulletin mentioned that the exam wouldn’t be conducted abroad. This decision left many international students feeling anxious and uncertain about their ability to participate. However, the NTA’s recent update addresses this concern and provides a welcome opportunity for them.
New Exam Centers Abroad for NEET UG 2024:
Here is the List of Cities and Countries which was added by NTA on 20 February, 2024.
- Kuwait City, Kuwait
- Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
- Bangkok, Thailand
- Colombo, Sri Lanka
- Doha, Qatar
- Kathmandu, Nepal
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
- Lagos, Nigeria
- Manama, Bahrain
- Muscat, Oman
- Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Singapore, Singapore
- Sharjah, Sharjah
Guidelines for Existing Applications:
- Existing applicants who chose exam centers in India can change their preference to these new foreign centers during the application correction window (dates to be announced). This may involve an additional fee, so be sure to check the official NTA website for details.
- Fresh applicants from abroad can directly select their preferred foreign city during the registration process.
This will help International students:
- Increased Accessibility: Students residing abroad no longer need to travel to India to take the NEET UG exam, reducing logistical challenges and financial burdens.
- Wider Opportunity: More students can now pursue their medical career aspirations by appearing for the exam closer to their homes.
