The New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA) offer Indian students the opportunity to enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate programs in New Zealand, encompassing a wide range of fields, including business, fashion, and STEM.

Eligibility criteria of New Zealand Excellence Awards (NZEA):

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
  • Aspirants should possess current Indian citizenship (not holding citizenship or permanent residency in New Zealand or Australia).
  • Applicants must be residing in India at the time of application.
  • Students need to fulfill Immigration New Zealand’s requirements for a student visa.
  • Candidates should also hold an unconditional offer for one of the NZEA eligible courses.

These scholarships have been exclusively designed to support Indian students in their educational endeavors. This initiative is a collaborative effort between Education New Zealand and New Zealand’s eight renowned universities. The primary objective is to encourage high-achieving Indian students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications at New Zealand universities, all of which rank among the top 500 in the 2023 QS World Rankings.
