In an official statement, the NTA has provided candidates with access to the provisional answer key and the question paper containing recorded responses on the official website. Candidates are encouraged to scrutinize these documents and, if necessary, raise challenges. The official notification highlights, “The Provisional Answer Key(s) along with the question paper with recorded responses are available on the website for candidates to challenge. The procedure for challenging the answer Key is enclosed in Annexure – II.”

Steps to Download the UGC NET December 2023 Answer Key:

  1. Visit the official website www.ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on “Public Notice Answer Key Challenge UGC – NET December 2023.”
  3. Open the PDF, carefully review the information, and click the login link on the homepage.
  4. Enter your details and submit to view the provisional answer key.
  5. Download and print the answer key for future reference.

Steps to Challenge the Answer Key:

  1. Visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  2. Select ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key.’
  3. Log in with your application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  4. Select “view question paper” to see marked responses and access the link “Click to view/challenge answer key.”
  5. Sequential question IDs will be displayed.
  6. Select the Option IDs to challenge and click ‘save your claims.’
  7. Upload supporting documents and pay the nonrefundable fee of ₹ 200 per challenged question.
